Job Summary:The Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Your expertise in critical care will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Current State License.
- Minimum of one-year experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years required.
- Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment required.
- CCRN preferred.
- Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical/surgical patients is preferred.
- Associate's Degree or BSN required.
At least 2 years of experience in Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse.
