Job Title: Interior Design Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Interior Design Project Coordinator to join our team at Thriven Design Inc. As a key member of our project teams, you will play a vital role in creating dynamic and timeless designs, as well as well-coordinated documentation with all disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interior Design and Design Detailing: Collaborate with our design team to create innovative and functional interior spaces.
  • Interior Finish Selections: Work with clients and design professionals to select interior finishes that meet their needs and budget.
  • Design Documentation and Specifications: Prepare and coordinate design and contract documentation, including specifications and drawings.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, design professionals, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Product Research and Selection: Research and recommend products that meet our design standards and client needs.
  • FF&E Specifications: Develop and maintain FF&E specifications for projects.
  • Space Planning and Project Management: Assist with space planning and project management, including programming and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Travel and Meetings: Travel for project-related meetings, milestones, and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Interior Design from an accredited university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: NCIDQ certification is beneficial but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Design and Presentation Skills: Ability to present design concepts and ideas effectively.
  • Design Experience: Experience in multi-family, senior, market-rate, student housing, healthcare, and corporate design.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in BIM software, such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, or Revit.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.
