Your role is crucial to our success. Every position impacts our patients' experiences, and you have the chance to make a significant difference. We are seeking a committed CT Technologist to contribute to our mission.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

1. Prepares patients and gathers necessary information for procedure completion.

2. Executes all CT procedures and is capable of learning and/or performing MRI exams.

3. Monitors patients' conditions attentively.

4. Implements and upholds radiation safety protocols as per federal regulations, adhering to the ALARA principle.

5. Complies with all relevant hospital and regulatory policies and aids in maintaining accreditation.

6. Proficiently understands and operates electronic information systems.

7. Compiles necessary records to facilitate timely results.

8. Administers contrast media as required.

9. Engages in continuing education activities to broaden knowledge of CT and fulfill the continuing education requirements of the ARRT.

10. Participates in on-call duties after regular hours as assigned.

11. Maintains adequate supplies.

12. Ensures primary work area is clean and organized, assisting in other departmental areas when not occupied in primary responsibilities. Performs clerical and transport duties as necessary.

13. Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

EXPERIENCE

Required - Background in Radiologic Technology.

Preferred - At least one year of dedicated CT experience.

EDUCATION

Required - Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Preferred - As above, with successful completion of formal computer courses.


LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

Required - ARRT registered. CT Registry within six months and BLS within 90 days of employment.

Work Schedule: Full-time, night shift, weekends only.
