Role Summary and RequirementsAs a CT Imaging Technologist, you will operate CT imaging equipment to create detailed images of patients' anatomical structures, aiding in the diagnosis of medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting physician scanning directives, administering contrast materials, and managing CT equipment.
- Assisting radiologists with medication administration, biopsies, and patient care.
- Preparing examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures.
- Monitoring supply inventory and ensuring cleanliness of work areas.
- Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- ARRT-CT certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in CT imaging is preferred.
- No travel is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience is required.
