RNnetwork is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Washington, DC. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful surgical outcomes by maintaining a sterile environment and providing top-notch care to surgical patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and promote patient safety
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the United States
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Nurse
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with 4x10-hour shifts from 7 am - 5:30 pm
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
