Medical Assistant Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Piedmont Heart Institute. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering top-notch medical services.

Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our physicians and staff
- Assist with patient care activities under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse
- Conduct basic procedures such as phlebotomy and EKGs
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient appointments
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Assisting or a related field
- Two years of experience in a medical office setting
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional applicable clinical certifications preferred
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
