Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at National Counseling Group. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to a team of mobile crisis counselors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Director in the provision of clinical services
  • Manage a team of mobile crisis counselors, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to program principles and clinical competency
  • Conduct weekly supervision, individual or group, to ensure clinical competency and adherence to program principles
  • Review clinical records to ensure proper and complete documentation of clinical and case management activities
  • Assist staff as needed, via phone and email, and remain available to clinical staff 24 hours a day to assist with crisis intervention
  • Accompany the Program Director to multi-disciplinary meetings and outside provider trainings, as requested
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, both external and internal, to promote and educate about CR2
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including meetings and phone interviews with clients, parents/guardians, and case managers
  • Responsible for ongoing training of team members and initial training of new hires
  • Assist the Program Director in appraising staff performance and recommending disciplinary/corrective action as necessary
  • Participate in weekly management meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • Recommend, prepare, and facilitate trainings to assist staff in better meeting the needs of clients
  • Assist with audit of client records when staff separate from NCG
  • Responsible for review of written diagnostic assessments and utilizing various assessment instruments
  • Responsible for review and maintenance of trackers utilized to monitor various aspects of programming
  • May provide direct clinical services to clients, inclusive of providing coverage to an employee shift, should it be necessary
  • May fulfill all documentation, case management, and supplementary functions for providing direct service as outlined in the mobile crisis counselor job description
  • Assists and participates in ongoing in-service and professional development activities as needed
  • Adheres to and upholds the guidelines and standards of NCG, including DMAS standards and guidelines, as well as contractual agreements implemented by grant funders
  • Attend required renewal trainings, such as CPR and First Aid
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of related experience, defined as providing clinical crisis services to children and adolescents with a mental illness, preferably with an at-risk population
  • Two years of supervisory experience in the Human Services field, preferably with a licensed clinical social worker, licensed marriage and family therapist, or licensed professional counselor
  • Masters or better degree in a related field
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor
