Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at ICONMA. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients under the direction of licensed nursing personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with nursing care activities, such as vital sign measurements, intake and output documentation, and capillary blood glucose testing.
  • Perform ECGs and apply NIBP, ECG electrodes, and pulse oximetry for patient monitoring.
  • Assist with patient transport and transfer within the department and hospital.
  • Respond to patient call lights and family requests, and refer appropriately.
  • Ensure patient safety by demonstrating age-appropriate skills when assisting with nursing care activities.
  • Perform duties supportive to the activities of daily living for patients, which do not require nursing assessment skills.
  • Participate in unit-related tasks and attend in-service and educational programs.
Requirements
  • BLS certification
  • CNA certification, preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year acute care experience
