Lead Game System Designer

Stardock is a renowned game development studio seeking an accomplished Game Developer to craft cutting-edge gameplay systems. This salaried, full-time position at our office in Michigan requires expertise in Unreal Engine 5 and a proven track record of creating engaging games.
Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled professional with a passion for strategy games and experience in C++. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing gameplay systems, collaborating with production and QA to address bugs, and creating technical documents that outline the implementation of these systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in game development, including 3+ years with Unreal Engine.
- Expertise in one or more areas such as UI/UX, AI, physics, data management, graphics, gameplay, audio, parallel and distributed systems, HLSL/GLSL shaders, pipelines, terrain.
