Position Overview

As a Security Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and overseeing security protocols, policies, and practices.

Your responsibilities will include safeguarding company assets (employees, facilities, products, supplies, etc.), conducting thorough investigations, managing Environmental Health and Safety initiatives, performing operational audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting business functions as directed by the Security Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will exhibit flexibility in their work schedule, as occasional shift adjustments and weekend duties may be necessary based on operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enforce physical security standards across the facility, including CCTV operations, access control, alarm system functionality, and cargo security measures.
  • Oversee Quality Auditors, ensuring compliance with quality assurance audits as per company guidelines.
  • Supervise contracted security personnel, ensuring all required documentation is completed, including trailer inspections and incident reporting.
  • Conduct investigations related to theft, fraud, safety violations, and policy breaches.
  • Perform operational audits in various departments such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure adherence to safety policies and proper documentation of incidents.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and awareness to colleagues through orientations, presentations, and one-on-one interactions.
  • Support field operations as needed, including investigating delivery discrepancies.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Security Operations Manager.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, retail operations, or a related field.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience, either directly or indirectly leading a team.

Strong interpersonal, analytical, auditing, and investigative skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.
3+ years of experience in security or retail operations.
2+ years in a supervisory role.
Relevant industry certifications (LPC, LPQ, CFE, CPP, CFI, etc.) are advantageous.
Familiarity with MS Office applications is beneficial.

Education:

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required, with the possibility of substituting experience on a year-for-year basis.

Compensation and Benefits:

The typical pay range for this role is between $40,000 and $97,800 annually.

This range represents the base salary for all positions within this job grade.

The actual salary will be determined based on various factors, including experience and education.

This position may also be eligible for bonuses or incentive programs in addition to the base salary.
