About the Job
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive HR strategy that drives business value and aligns with the organization's strategic goals. This includes leading and managing a team of HR professionals, serving as a resource for employee relations issues, and creating a positive work environment that welcomes and encourages employees to engage with HR for support as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and oversee a comprehensive HR strategy to drive business value and strategic alignment Lead and manage a team of HR professionals across various functions, including performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning, total rewards, platforms, strategy, analytics, legal compliance, and change management
Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for the HR team and build their capabilities through supporting growth and developmentServe as a resource for employee relations issues, building and maintaining strong relationships with all levels of staff Provide counsel, advice, and support in resolving issues, disputes, and sensitive matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and lawful handling of matters
Requirements:10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development
SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP certification required
Certification in change management or equivalent proven experience preferred
Broad knowledge and experience contributing to organization-wide strategy development
Energized by change and unique challenges, with ample experience navigating ambiguity and helping others to as well
Expertise at improving and developing HR best practices
Creating a positive work environment that welcomes and encourages employees to engage with HR for support as needed
Proven ability to prioritize and plan work activities while maintaining flexibility and enthusiasm towards overall support of the team
Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to dive into an extremely cross-functional work environment
Deep experience handling confidential information and meeting HR-related compliance requirements
What We Offer:Competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000, exempt, based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
