Position Overview

Off Leash K9 Training is a rapidly expanding organization in the pet training industry, seeking to recruit a dedicated Dog Training Professional in the Tulsa, OK region. This role is both challenging and fulfilling, offering significant earning potential for the right candidate. This is not a conventional 9-5 position; it is a lifestyle choice that allows you to earn between $50-75K annually (or more) while working from home and engaging in a career you love.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must reside in or near the Tulsa area.
  • Ability to board at least one dog at your home for 14-day intervals.
  • Access to a reliable SUV.
  • Possession of a smartphone capable of shooting, creating, and editing videos; drone experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and potential clients.
  • Physical capability to manage and train various dog breeds, both large and small.
  • Completion of our 17-day training program and testing at the OLK9 Training Facility, along with ongoing training with our Head Trainer.
  • Clean background and criminal record.
  • Must be over 21 years old and provide personal and professional references.
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks and data entry promptly.
  • Self-motivated and able to create a flexible schedule while being reliable for clients.
  • A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Training and handling dogs of all sizes, from puppies to adults.
  • Working with dogs requiring behavioral adjustments.
  • Engaging with the public in a professional manner.
  • Traveling to appointments within the Tulsa area.
  • Participating in continuous education to enhance training skills for both dogs and their owners.
  • Attending promotional events.

  • A genuine passion for dogs and their training.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including the ability to create engaging dog training videos.
  • The flexibility to work during peak hours on weekdays and weekends.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
