Position Overview
We are seeking a SECURITY CONTROL ASSESSOR / SECURITY ARCHITECT to provide support for the TRMC in a full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Deputy EA for DoD Cyber Test Ranges in fulfilling TRMC CIO-related responsibilities.
- Manage Test IT Infrastructure to minimize redundancy and optimize operational expenses.
- Evaluate all IT Infrastructure for the command and aid the CIO in formulating an IT strategy.
- Conduct reviews of all systems to confirm compliance with FISMA requirements and alignment with the TRMC IT Strategy.
- Supervise all Cross Domain Services and Multi-Level Security Requirements in collaboration with TRMC Cybersecurity.
- Assess and validate RMF packages, including ATOs and IATTs, relevant to systems, sites, and networks in support of cyber test operations.
- Support the administration and daily operational needs of computer network systems related to the National Cyber Range Complex.
- Contribute to the development of a Zero Trust Implementation Plan for TRMC.
Required Skills
- A master's degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in network security, ATO, and IATT development and approval processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT, IA, DoD Accreditation processes, and cybersecurity strategies.
- Expertise in the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework.
- Senior-level technical proficiency with specialized experience in cybersecurity and interoperability for complex hardware, software, and automated information systems.
- Knowledge and skills in areas such as Cybersecurity Concepts, Architecture Principles (DoDAF), Security of Networks, Applications, and Data.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-service environment.
- TS/SCI Clearance is mandatory.
