About the Role:

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Hybrid Litigation Paralegal to enhance our vibrant legal team. This position encompasses a combination of conventional paralegal duties and case management tasks, which include:
  • Conducting meticulous document evaluations to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Drafting and refining legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Maintaining robust client relationships by providing regular updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Effectively managing time to meet deadlines while handling multiple cases concurrently.
  • Executing thorough case investigations to identify critical facts, issues, and legal arguments.
  • Organizing, interpreting, and requesting medical records as needed.
  • Keeping well-structured and current case files.
  • Performing comprehensive legal research and investigating questions.
  • Overseeing discovery, document management, trial preparation, and investigative processes.
  • Staying informed about the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and applying them appropriately.
  • Utilizing Coyote, iTimekeep software, and iManage for effective case file management and tracking billable hours.
  • Conducting electronic filing in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Paralegal certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal capacity, ideally in litigation.
  • Demonstrated experience in document review, legal document drafting, client relations, and case management.
  • Strong familiarity with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Experience with Coyote, iTimekeep software, and iManage is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong research capabilities and proficiency in interpreting and requesting medical records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in electronic filing systems and legal research tools.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
