Job Title: Senior Full Stack Web Developer

Brandes Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient web applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex web applications using Java, JavaScript, and related technologies
  • Design and implement databases to support web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Supervise and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality code and efficient development processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes and web application quality
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in full stack web development with a strong focus on Java, JavaScript, and related technologies
  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines and DevOps methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and database design
  • 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with Git and version control
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and Scrum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Experience:
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Experience with Java ORM such as Hibernate
  • Experience with Java with Spring or Java EE
  • Experience with Restful web services
  • Experience with SPA, ReactJS/Redux
  • Experience with WebSockets
Education:

MS or MA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline

An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree
