Electrical Assembler Job Description

At Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), we're seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team. As an Electrical Assembler, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay out conduit systems, lighting systems, control systems, and feeders.
  • Analyze blueprints effectively to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Clean and maintain workstations, tools, and manufacturing environments.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure manufacturing crews work safely according to company policies.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
  • Identify, correct, and report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Drive and sustain lean manufacturing principles.
  • Obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively.
  • Provide technical assistance to team members as needed.
  • Provide direction, training, and mentorship to General Assemblers/Apprentices.
  • Install motor feeders and make standard motor connections.
  • Work as a member of a cohesive team, demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Clean and maintain job sites/work areas and tools.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, Faith Technologies Inc, and customer-specific safety requirements.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Complete portions of projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner.
  • Complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size.
  • Comprehend and incorporate specifications effectively.
  • Coach and inspire General Assemblers/Apprentices to surpass customer expectations and company vision/goals.
  • Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures, and training needed to complete work in a safe manner.
  • Participate in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED, and completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
  • 10-25% travel.
  • Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6am-6pm or 6pm to 6am depending on assigned shift. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
