Electrical Construction Specialist

The Constructability Specialist plays a crucial role in taking construction information and translating it into the production process. This role works closely with Preproduction, VDC, Engineering, Operations, and Project Management to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and redline fabrication, manufacturing, and construction prints
- Maintain product drawings, including redlines and as-builts, in a folder structure for easy access
- Provide electrical mentoring and support to detailers, modelers, Preconstruction, and Excellerate Production Team
- Resolve BIM issues and RFIs
- Align manufacturing reviews with production
- Identify building clashes and provide solutions
- Coordinate with VDC and Engineering on changes to missing parts and information in construction and fabrication drawings
- Break down manufacturing drawings to a level of detail that can be understood in production cells and integration
- Adjust builds to streamline installation/creation
- Verify specifications and submittals for building methods
- Create, review, and identify missing parts and information in BOMs
- Allocate materials from BOMs (cell vs. integration)
- Order materials and schedule priority lists due to lead times
- Identify alternative vendors due to lead times, quotes, or bottlenecks
- Verify and/or create wire length schedules and pull sheets based on one-lines
- Issue purchase requests for larger projects (commodities, fabricated items, specialty items)
- Check with vendors on long lead time items
- Assist Preproduction with the request for pricing and proposal process
- Set standards for fabricators on the proper identification of fabricated materials
- Utilize field experience to develop and lead coordination/detailing plans for assigned projects
- Support QA/QC processes
- Capture and assist with the evaluation and implementation of lessons learned from previous projects
- Demonstrate approachability and ability to collaborate with others and effectively influence
- Drive the utilization of established processes and standards for Preproduction and Production teams
- Support and provide input to the production floor layout
- Support FTI leadership with coordination items during project execution
- Support Excellerate Production Team during floor production
- Support the evaluation and selection of tools, material, and supply chain
- Understand Excellerate capabilities
- Support project deliveries through coordination with customer representatives
- Receive and capture feedback from project teams on sequence, duration, logistics, and work package content
- Actively participate in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
