Catering Operations Manager

The Catering Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering department. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Takes and modifies orders over the phone using our point-of-sale system
- Enters orders placed online into our point-of-sale system
- Resolves customer concerns with manager approval
- Assigns deliveries to catering employees
- Begins and completes baking and food preparation
- Assembles catering food in baskets, trays, and bowls
- Makes deliveries by vehicle and/or on foot
- Responsible for breakfast and lunch preparation
- Responsible for clean-up duties
- Empties trash as required
- Responsible for distributing tips daily
- Executes Catering Sales initiatives as necessary, including but not limited to:
- Daily customer call backs
- Menu drops
- Community event coordination and execution
- Menu presentations and food tastings
- Identifying sales leads through active territory canvassing
- High School diploma or equivalent or in process of completing same
- Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards, and maintain a valid driver's license with insurance
- State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
- Preferably a minimum of 3 months work experience in a guest service capacity. Restaurant or retail environment preferred
- Proficient in MS Office environment and POS systems
- Possess strong guest service and communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
