About the Role

Axim Collaborative, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Vice President, Partnerships and External Affairs. This key leadership position will be responsible for developing high-level strategic partnerships and overseeing the organization's marketing and communications efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curate and manage a portfolio of strategic relationships to support the organization's mission and goals.
  • Source and structure new partnerships that leverage digital innovation and catalytic funding.
  • Oversee the execution of projects and collaboratives, ensuring strong engagement and outcomes.
  • Represent Axim Collaborative at external events, including conferences and partner convenings.
Marketing and Communications
  • Lead the marketing and communications function, collaborating with other leaders to reassess needs as the organization evolves.
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy that leverages social media and storytelling to advance the organization's mission.
  • Manage partners and staff who support marketing and communications work.
Leadership and Culture
  • Build a sense of shared purpose and collective culture within and across departments.
  • Cultivate trust between the organization and its partners.
  • Model the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, fostering environments that facilitate diverse perspectives.
Requirements
  • Deep commitment to equity and experience applying an equity lens in all strategies and work streams.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, with demonstrated success developing partnerships in fields such as social enterprise, philanthropy, and higher education.
  • Robust understanding of educational technology and its potential to support students in broad access higher education settings.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with and influence external decision-makers.
  • Experience operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment as a creative thinker and problem solver.
  • Exceptional project management, prioritization, and planning skills, with demonstrated success producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.
