Job Details

At BioSpace, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will provide medical and scientific strategic and operational input into core medical affairs activities such as health-care professional and provider interactions, generation of clinical and scientific data, educational initiatives, and safeguarding patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of brand strategies.
  • Lead and support Medical Affairs initiatives for the target indication.
  • Contribute to the development of and lead the execution of the Medical Education / Advisory Board & EE Engagement Plan generation in line with TA plan.
  • Generate clinical and scientific data per evidence gap assessment.
  • Manage budget for assigned projects.
  • Align Medical education and scientific initiatives with Sci Comm Platform.
  • Inform Investigator Initiated Study (IIS) strategy and act as Docent for IISs.
  • Contribute to the generation of MI communication content and support training on Medical Information (MI) materials.
  • Perform accurate and detailed medical review of complex advertising and promotional materials for assigned therapeutic area(s) within Medical Affairs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in the sciences. Advanced Degree PhD, PharmD, PA or NP preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent; substantial understanding of relevant therapeutic area required.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements governing clinical trials, and experience in the design of protocols preferred.
  • May have performed protocol design in the academic environment and/or acted as an assistant PI.
  • Experience in psychiatry/neuroscience is preferred.
  • Ability to interact externally and internally to support global business strategy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
