Job Summary

English Apothecary, a retail pharmacy in Bethel, CT, is seeking a skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join their team. As a key member of the pharmacy staff, you will assist pharmacists with day-to-day activities, including compounding medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with compounding medications and filling prescriptions
  • Process patient information and enter prescription orders into the computer
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and prescribers to obtain payment and refill authorization
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Perform housekeeping and material handling tasks
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Compounding Technician
  • Knowledge of PK software and medical terminology
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
