About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Duke University Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to patients in the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
  • Participate in educational activities, departmental committees, and research projects to advance nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) is required.
  • Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse is required.
  • BLS (or higher) certification is required.
