Position Overview
Catholic Health Initiatives is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to enhance our dedicated team. Our facility is a 225-bed Level II Trauma center, providing extensive medical services to the surrounding community.
Practice Highlights:
- Fellowship training in MDA is not a prerequisite.
- Our anesthesia department consists of 8 full-time physicians and 2 PRN physicians, supported by 17 CRNAs.
- Responsibilities include coverage for a single hospital.
- Diverse case mix including Cardiothoracic, Pediatric, General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Urology, and Neurology.
- Facilities include surgical suites, endoscopy suite, cardiac catheterization labs, PACU, and EP lab.
- Operate within a care team model with medical oversight of CRNAs (excluding bypass cases).
- Physicians will manage cardiac cases (must be comfortable with TEE) and oversee labor epidural services.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records.
- Our group values equitable scheduling, vacation time, compensation, call distribution, and case variety.
- Engage in a wide range of specialty procedures with a significant volume of cardiovascular cases.
- Call schedule is 1:6 with a post-call day off.
