Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our remodeling team at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing tile flooring from start to finish, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove existing flooring and prepare the surface for new tile installation
  • Measure and cut tile to fit the floor space, ensuring accurate cuts and minimal waste
  • Mix and apply mortar to the floor, following established procedures for optimal results
  • Layout and install tile, ensuring proper spacing and alignment
  • Apply grout between tiles, cleaning and sealing as needed
  • Clean the work area and ensure a safe and healthy working environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program in tile installation or a related field
  • Experience with flooring installation, concrete work, and hand and power tools
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor
