We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Professional to join our team at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire tiling installation process, from removing old flooring to fitting new tiles onto the floor without cracking them. You will utilize both power and hand tools to complete the task efficiently.

Compensation:

$18 - $22 hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove and dispose of old flooring materials
  • Measure and cut tiles to fit the floor space
  • Apply and spread mortar across the floor
  • Layout and install tiles on top of the mortar
  • Apply grout between tiles and clean the surface
  • Clean the job site and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program in flooring installation or a related field
  • Experience with flooring installation, construction, or concrete work
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform the job requirements
