Job Summary

Mercy Volunteer Corps is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Aid and Outreach Worker to join our team. As a key member of our Project H.O.M.E. team, you will provide critical support services to individuals experiencing homelessness, empowering them to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide street outreach services to engage with individuals in need, assessing their needs and connecting them with appropriate resources.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure a continuum of services for our clients.
  • Collaborate with our housing team to provide supportive and transitional housing options, ensuring a smooth transition to permanent housing.
  • Facilitate community-based supportive employment and education opportunities for youth and adults, promoting economic stability and independence.

Requirements

  • College graduate with a degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to our organization's mission and values.
