Job Summary

ABC Supply is seeking a skilled CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of building materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver building materials to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Conduct a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch to ensure all delivery materials are securely loaded and all parts of your truck are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
  • Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them
  • Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
  • Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries
  • Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned
Requirements
  • Valid CDL - Class A or B
  • The ability to lift pounds repeatedly (your most common cargo will be 70 pound bundles of shingles)
  • Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
  • Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
  • Boom truck experience is preferred
