Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Delivery Truck Driver to ensure the safe transportation of goods from our warehouse to our customers' locations. As a CDL Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a company vehicle, navigating through various routes, and delivering materials to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a company vehicle to transport goods from our warehouse to our customers' locations
  • Ensure the safe transportation of goods by following all traffic laws and regulations
  • Deliver materials to our customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch to ensure all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unloading them
  • Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
  • Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL - Class A or B
  • The ability to lift pounds repeatedly (your most common cargo will be 70 pound bundles of shingles)
  • Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
  • Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
  • Boom truck experience is preferred
