Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Interpretation: Gather, assess, and interpret data to uncover trends and insights. Utilize data-driven conclusions to provide informed recommendations.
  • Process Optimization: Review current processes and develop workflow diagrams. Suggest and implement enhancements to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Solution Development: Formulate and propose solutions that tackle business challenges. Collaborate closely with technical teams to guarantee successful implementation and integration.
  • Documentation Management: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories. Ensure all documentation is clear, thorough, and current.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops to share findings and gather feedback.
  • Project Assistance: Support project planning, monitoring, and execution. Provide assistance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Validation and Testing: Work with QA teams to develop test plans and scripts. Confirm that solutions meet business requirements and function as intended.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role. Proven track record in requirements analysis, process optimization, and documentation.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Versatile and willing to contribute across various areas.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering, documentation, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis.
  • Familiarity with the transportation or rail industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Knowledgeable in SDLC, SIT, and UAT testing methodologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with COBOL/VSAM systems is a plus.
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a team setting and manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and knowledge of database management systems are advantageous.
