Key Responsibilities
As a member of our team, your duties will encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to operating various types of heavy machinery, such as earthmoving equipment, cranes, and forklifts. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. The work environment is primarily outdoors, requiring adaptability to diverse weather conditions. The role demands a vigilant individual with strong physical capabilities, including good vision, hearing, and balance. Crane operators must comply with the physical standards set forth by relevant ASME/ANSI regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Ability to engage in prolonged sitting, reaching, and grasping.
- Occasional requirements for lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, and using hand tools.
- Comprehensive vision capabilities are necessary, including acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
- Effective communication skills are crucial for safety and operational discussions with colleagues.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, which may include exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and dust from construction activities.
Candidates with a minimum of five years of experience in equipment operation are preferred, particularly those who have consistently met or exceeded performance standards.
