Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Reconcile and manage financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Accounting Procedures: Adhere to company-approved accounting procedures and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Vendor Management: Process vendor invoices and payments, and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent bookkeeping experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience and proficiency in 10-key calculator.
Working Environment

The Accounting Associate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

The Accounting Associate will be required to sit for prolonged periods, work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, and perform other physical demands as outlined in the job description.
