Job Summary:

The Janitorial Assistant position at ABM Industries is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain building floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
  • Maintain janitor's closet and equipment in good working order

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Pass a 7-year background check and drug screen
