Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel, ensuring adherence to state licensure requirements and professional standards.
- Deliver high-quality rehab services, adhering to established plans of care, department schedules, and timely documentation.
- Participate in patient care, staffing conferences, and other related meetings, contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered approach.
- Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address comprehensive patient needs.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select the most effective therapeutic regimen for each patient.
- Adapt programs and plans of care according to individual patient needs.
- Promote a safe environment, enforcing fire and safety hazard elimination.
- Order necessary supplies and equipment.
- Maintain, identify, and report equipment repair needs.
Patient-Centered Care:
Our Physical Therapist will prioritize patient service, ensuring that patients and families receive exceptional care in a compassionate and caring atmosphere that recognizes individual needs and rights.
- Screen, examine, and evaluate patients, including history, systems review, and application of relevant tests and measures, synthesizing data to inform treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Proven experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, exercises, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using physical therapy tools and technology.
