Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience working with the public and interpretation of rules, laws, or procedures, with at least one year in code inspection and enforcement
  • High school diploma or equivalent and specialized training in urban planning, criminal justice, environmental studies, public or business administration, or a related field
  • Possession of an Arrest Course 832 Penal Code Certificate and a valid driver's license
Working Conditions

The Code Enforcement Officer will work in an office and inspection site environment, with exposure to dust and noise, and may be required to climb, stoop, lift, and inspect in confined areas.
