Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a skilled Histology Laboratory Technician to join its laboratory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of histology specimens.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage histology specimens to ensure accurate identification and integrity
  • Assist pathologists in the grossing of specimens and supply materials as needed
  • Accurately document specimens and maintain accurate records
  • Embed, cut, and perform routine stains on tissue sections
  • Demonstrate competency in performing routine and special stains
  • Prepare slides for reading by pathologists
  • Perform and complete frozen sections
  • Function independently and maintain a high level of organization
  • Communicate effectively with pathologists, histologists, and managers

Requirements

  • NAACLS-accredited HT program or Associate's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience
