Project Director

McGough Construction is a leading provider of construction services, with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project, from pre-construction to completion.

• Project Planning and Management
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Estimating and Bidding
  • Prepare and submit bids for projects, including estimating costs and developing project schedules
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to develop project estimates and bid packages
• Scheduling and Coordination
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including critical path method (CPM) scheduling
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones
• Cost Control and Management
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost savings opportunities
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers
• Quality Control and Assurance
  • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and address quality issues
• Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner

• Education
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
• Skills
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, and control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

• Education
  • Master's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. Employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical office environment with a standard level of office noise. Occasional standing, bending, walking and lifting is also required.

Employee will be required to visit construction jobsites, which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures. In addition, employee must be able to move around prospective or current project sites. This includes climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, walking long distances, and climbing stairs.
