As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as maintaining proper hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
  • Prepare patient rooms with necessary items, including blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and bathroom needs.
  • Ensure patients receive regular meals and assist with eating.
  • Monitor patient vitals and behavior, reporting to nursing and medical staff as needed.
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfer needs, including turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort.
  • Exercise patients by helping them walk.

Requirements:

  • Completion of high school or its equivalent.
  • Current Nursing Assistant I listing with the North Carolina registry.
  • Current Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
