Hardware Deployment Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will perform installation and support of new Windows-based computer systems, ensuring seamless deployment and integration into our IT infrastructure.
Key tasks include:
- Installing and imaging software on laptops and workstations
- Preparing computers for deployments and supporting deployment activities
- Assisting with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals
- Coordinating with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs
- Ensuring work products comply with established deliverable guidelines, including format and content
- Developing documentation based on customer processes
- Traveling to customer sites for deployment activities, including site surveys, hardware installation, software installation, and hardware removal
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 5 years of experience in Information Technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and effective decision-making
- Experience in Customer Service
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Additional Requirements:
Our ideal candidate must:
- Hold an active interim Secret clearance or above
- Be able to travel at least 25% (Passport required)
Physical Requirements:
Our ideal candidate must be able to type.
