Position Summary and QualificationsWe are in search of a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Progressive Care Unit. In this leadership role, you will deliver clinical expertise to guarantee that all patients receive top-notch, efficient care in a high-acuity setting.
We are a supportive team seeking a remarkable individual who shares our passion for meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications according to physician directives.
- Provide leadership to the nursing team during your assigned shift.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with an active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, excellent service skills, and effective interpersonal communication abilities are essential.
