Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients within a specific clinical pharmacy service line or specialty.
  • Supervise and lead Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists in clinical or operational settings.
  • Stay up-to-date with state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services.
  • Apply knowledge of new medications and technology to improve patient care.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, healthcare teams, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams and committees to drive quality improvement.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate commitment to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
Requirements
  • BS or Pharm.D. from a School of Pharmacy.
  • Current license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Completion of a general 1-year pharmacy residency, specialty residency, and/or fellowship or at least 3 years of pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
  • Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties is strongly preferred.
