Job Overview

At Michael Page, we are seeking an experienced Product Specialist to join our team in North of Boston. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product management, sales engineering, or application engineering, with a strong background in electrical engineering and conductive products.

About the Role

  • This is a hybrid role that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and sales, to drive product development and launch plans.
  • The successful applicant will lead the product development process from idea generation to launch, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
  • You will define product specifications, pricing strategies, and distribution plans for new product introductions, as well as develop product roadmaps to meet evolving market requirements.

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with regional marketing teams to adapt marketing strategies to local market requirements and monitor and analyze market and sales data to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and customers to gain insights and drive customer-centric product development.
  • You will also collaborate with the sales team to provide training, support, and sales tools to ensure successful product launches and ongoing sales growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, or a related field is desired.
  • Ideal background in cable / interconnect space.
  • 1-3 years of experience for a product specialist and 3-6+ years for a product manager hire in an engineering, sales engineering, or product role within Industrial Manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in product management, sales engineering, or application engineering.

  • $90,000 base salary for a product specialist - $110,000 base salary for a Product Manager, depending on experience + bonus.
