Overview

Durango School District 9-R is seeking a highly qualified individual to lead its boys' lacrosse program at Durango High School. This position involves overseeing all aspects of the team, including coaching, supervision, and administrative tasks.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor assistant coaches
  • Develop and implement practice and competition plans
  • Care for facilities and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with school administration, players, and parents
  • Involvement in middle school and community-based programs

Qualifications:

  • Fundamental knowledge of lacrosse
  • Experience working with related school-aged athletes/students
  • Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
  • Current medical injury treatment coursework
