Desert Choice Schools is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist, you will work with students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, providing counseling, training, and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and training to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and crisis management plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide parent training and support to help parents access outside resources for their child
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and record-keeping

Requirements:

  • Valid School Psychologist/LCSW/LMFT/LPC licensure by AZ state
  • Experience working with emotional and/or behaviorally challenged students
  • Ability to collaborate and receive feedback from peers and supervisors
  • Ability to maintain a professional and clinical perspective at all times
  • Ability to safely and effectively use crisis management interventions
