Job Summary:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist sought by AMN Healthcare to perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine and be certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Review patient information and interpretation of data to confirm an appropriate plan and intervention specific for age-related needs and provision of care.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
  • Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
