We are seeking a Direct Hire Laboratory Technologist to join our client's laboratory in the United States. This position is available for the 2nd and 3rd shifts, with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $22 to $26, plus a night differential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Recognize and address basic analyzer malfunctions, notifying management personnel when necessary.
  • Prepare reagents and media from prescribed procedures, evaluating their quality and effectiveness.
  • Conduct quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products, implementing corrective actions as indicated.
  • Determine performance specifications for new methods, confirming and verifying results through knowledge of techniques, principles, and analyzers.
  • Monitor quality assurance and continuous improvement programs, ensuring compliance with laboratory regulations.
  • Utilize laboratory information systems to accurately and effectively report patient results.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory procedures in accordance with standardized formats.
  • Report test results in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
