  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all facilities adhere to local, state, and federal safety and building codes.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of all church equipment and schedule regular maintenance as needed.
  • Event Support: Collaborate with ministry leaders to set up rooms and facilities for events, meetings, and services.
  • Logistical Support: Provide logistical support and be on-call for any facility-related needs during events.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Monitor the condition of the church's grounds, including parking lots, lawns, and exterior lighting.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the development of the annual facilities budget and track expenses.
Requirements:
  • Dynamic Faith: Be in a dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or a related field, preferably in a large church setting.
  • Availability: Able to work weekend or evening events as needed.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and take initiative, excellent communication and organizational skills, and basic computer skills for tracking maintenance schedules, emails, and vendor management.
  • Commitment: Committed to the mission and vision of Christ Community Chapel.
