HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. We are a Level II Trauma Center with a 61,000 annual patient visit volume in our Main ED and 16,000 in our Peds ED. Our ED features 42 beds, including 5 fast track and 5 monitored beds, as well as 3 trauma bays and 2.0 pph. We offer 70 hours of physician coverage and 60 hours of APP coverage, with a 26% admit rate. Our EMR is Meditech, and we have a comprehensive stroke facility with bi-plane capability. We also have interventional cardiac cath and code ice facilities. Our providers will have no floor code or consult responsibilities and will be IC-1099 contractors with malpractice coverage. We offer the highest paid rates in South FL and a very generous bonus package. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM or AOBEM and have ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. They must also have completed an EM Residency and be Board Certified within 5 years. Additionally, providers will be responsible for coverage at the Vero FSED 2-3 times a month.
