We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of our patients and developing and implementing individualized respiratory care plans.
Responsibilities- Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation
- Maintain accurate department and hospital records, including therapy information
- Perform procedures with empathy and care for our patients
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
- American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Customer service skills, including effective listening
