Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance and repair services on a wide variety of fleet vehicles, including trucks and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and complex maintenance and repair services on fleet vehicles, including trucks and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment
  • Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs
  • Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisition new parts
  • Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns and conduct safety checks on vehicles
  • Complete required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others
  • Must be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment, with moderate noise and cold and hot temperature ranges
  • Must be able to follow all required work safe practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CDL A/B a plus
  • State Inspection Certification a plus
  • Experience in preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines
  • Experience with AC and Electrical
