As a Detention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our facility, ensuring the well-being of inmates, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the custody and control of inmates, maintaining a secure and orderly environment within the facility.
  • Conduct thorough searches of inmates, cells, and common areas to prevent contraband and maintain order.
  • Monitor and respond to security breaches, incidents, and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide support and assistance to inmates, including basic needs such as food, water, and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a positive and respectful environment within the facility.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong core skills in security and conflict management.
  • Premium skills in CCTV monitoring, first aid/CPR, law enforcement, and military background.
  • Relevant skill in report writing.
  • Previous supervising experience preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts, including day, evening, night shifts, holidays, and overtime.
